Polyurethane systems and polyols, grade by grade.
Made by our partner group, Polytek, in India. Every figure below is a typical value from the group's own catalogue. Pick by process, then ask for the full technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS).
Before you order. Grades are listed from our partner group's catalogue. Before supplying any grade into Great Britain or the EU we confirm its UK REACH or EU REACH position and provide an SDS written for GB CLP or EU CLP. Some grades may not yet be documented for UK or EU supply; ask and we'll tell you plainly, and suggest an alternative if needed.

Footwear systems: Polyfoot
PU systems designed to produce footwear components, including polyether-based footbeds. Grade data on request. Source: Polytek Synergy, PU system for footwear.
Ask about footwear gradesPolyols
The group makes its own polyether and polyester polyols. That's the "made at source" part: the polyols in our systems come from the group's own production.
Polyether polyols
A range by molecular weight and functionality:
- Diols: molecular weight 1000, 2000 and 4000
- Triols: molecular weight 5000 and 6000
- Polymer polyol
Used in flexible foams, footwear, coatings, sealants, automotive seats, mattresses and memory-foam pillows. Source: Polytek Synergy, polyether polyols.
TDS/SDSPolyester polyols
Aromatic and aliphatic polyester polyols.
Used in slabstock, spray foam, construction, printing, wheels, elastomers, CASE, adhesives, shoe soles and hard coatings. Source: Polytek Synergy, polyester polyols.
TDS/SDSOH value, viscosity, acid value and water content per grade are on the TDS. We don't publish ranges here that we can't send you a document for.
Prepolymers
Prepolymers for elastomers, CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers), adhesives, shoe soles and foams. Grade data on request.
Source: Polytek Synergy, prepolymers. Isocyanate-terminated prepolymers often contain residual monomeric diisocyanate; see diisocyanate training.
PU surfactants and additives
Surfactants and additives for footwear, spray foam, elastomer and adhesive formulations. Grade data on request.
Source: Polytek Synergy, PU surfactant and additives. The partner group also lists PU coatings and PU adhesives; ask if you need those.
How to read the tables
- OH value:
- hydroxyl value of the polyol side, in mg KOH/g. Together with water content, it sets how much isocyanate the blend needs.
- Viscosity:
- of the polyol side, in centipoise (cP, the same as mPa·s) at 25 °C.
- FRD:
- free-rise density, the density of foam allowed to rise freely.
- MD:
- density of the foam as applied or moulded (in a panel, mould or pipe).
- Mix ratio:
- parts of polyol to parts of isocyanate, as printed. The TDS confirms the basis (weight or volume) and the isocyanate to use.
- PUR / PIR:
- polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams. PIR systems use an excess of isocyanate (a higher isocyanate index) and a trimerisation catalyst, for better fire and heat performance. Ask for the index of each grade on its TDS.
Density units are printed in the catalogue's flexible-foam tables as kg/m³; the rigid tables print FRD and MD without a unit, and we show kg/m³ for consistency. Typical values are not a specification. Always trial before switching. See how to compare a TDS.
